Fresh Skinny Cucumber / Kakri

Description

Cucumber is thin, elongated, curved and often irregularly curled with a creamy pistachio green coloured skin that is textured with smooth longitudinal furrows. Its flesh is crisp, succulent and mildly flavoured, similar to a common cucumber. Ideal sized Skinny Cucumbers will range in length from 10-15 inches. Longer cucumbers will tend to be not just over-sized, but also overly mature with less moisture content. The Skinny Cucumber is entirely edible.

Skinny Cucumbers are low on calories and offer high fiber. Tasting much like a regular cucumber, it can be enjoyed raw in salads or cooked.
