Prasenjit Chatterjee
Born at Calcutta in 1962. His father Biswajit was a popular hero of
Bengali and Hindi films. Studied at St Xaviers college for some time. Started acting at a very
early age. First acted as a child actor in the film 'Chhotto Jiggyasa'
which got released in 1968 and received the BFJA award for best child
actor.
Later acted in a supporting role in 'Dui Prithibi' in 1983. His first appearance as a lead hero was in the film 'Duti Pata'. Since then Chatterjee has acted in the lead role of many Bengali films.
